Another annual event held by the Executive Board FE-UB Student on October 19, 2009 : the workshop and training “Get Ready to Work 2009″ (GRTW 2009). Located at the University of Brawijaya Widyaloka Building, the event was attended by students at the University of Brawijaya in general, especially students of the Faculty of Economics.

The event aimed to inform students on the procedures to follow good interview and how to write a good cover letter is to present speakers who come from big companies like Mr. Dudung as HRD Manager PT. Telkomsel area Java – Bali, Mr. Usman Ichsanuddin Pertamina as Recruitment Manager, Mr. Agus Tito from Pertamina Surabaya, Prof.Dr.Ir. Arief Prajitno, MS as the director of job placement Unibraw Center, and Mrs. Christina Sahertian from John Robert Power International.

The event which took place on Monday at 08.00 am until 16:00 pm was opened by the Assistant Dean III, Mr. Nanang Suryadi, SE.MM and continued his speech by M. Ichwan as executive chairman and as chairman of BEM FE-UB Danang Teguh  with approximately 250 participants. The material presented by the speakers is very beneficial for the participants on how companies – large companies recruit new employees, the procedures that must be done in applying for a job until the time of the interview procedure. “Not to be afraid to reveal deficiencies in the interview because of something we think is a deficiency, it could even be a surplus and an added value for us” said Mr. Dudung interrupted – during the event. The same thing expressed by representatives of Pertamina which students are expected to attempt to explore the potential of self that is not visible. Because every human being must have the potential for different, except that some of us have not tried to dig with its maximum positive potential owned. Self Potential is one of the keys for success.
